Think beyond the ink.
The Teldon Community Foundation: Giving is in our nature

At Teldon, we know our responsibilities don’t end with our customers and employees, we believe our responsibilities go way beyond, into the communities we work and play in and to the world at large.

For this reason we founded the volunteer-run Teldon Community Foundation in 2001 to address the needs of marginalized people in our community and our world - those who cannot afford the things most of us take for granted like food, water, shelter, basic schooling, and clothing; as well as those suffering from abuse, addiction and physical or mental afflictions.

Over the years Teldon has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to help a number of worthy charities, but the real goal of the Foundation is to foster volunteerism within the walls of Teldon by giving our time, labour and expertise. In addition to the organizations we support locally like Covenant House, Urban Promise, Family Services of Greater Vancouver, and the Richmond Food Bank to name a few, we go further and support the work of World Vision’s building of a sustainable fruit processing plant, have sponsored the municipal infrastructure development for the town of Bulembu Swaziland, and have gathered books and school supplies for students in Tanzania. We also love to support staff in their individual initiatives. Our fund matching policy helps employees give back to the causes they care about by doubling their donations.
