This magazine client has never looked back after choosing Teldon
Q. Why did you choose Teldon?
A. “When I first started with [this magazine] nine years ago, the company had been working with another printer for the majority of our magazine printing, using Teldon only to print a few of our annual maps. Over the years working with Ken Schneider on these smaller products the service and quality was exceptional. In fact the service in particular was better than we were getting from our main printer, but at the time with a smaller press Teldon was not able to print our larger press jobs cost effectively. Over the years, with expansions, new equipment and always finding a way to have that competitive edge, Teldon was finally able to take on our workload and we made the switch to Teldon as our primary print source. We’ve never looked back!”
Q. How would you describe Teldon to someone considering working with them?
A. “The great thing about Teldon is that it’s an employee owned company and it really shows. From talking to the press-operators during press checks, to dealing with the CSR’s and office staff, and getting help from the preprint department when you need it, you really get the sense that everyone there takes immense pride in what they are producing for you. It shows in the quality, and it shows in the service you get.”
Q. One of Teldon's Mantras is "think beyond the ink". How have you experienced that philosophy?
A. “I particularly appreciate Teldon’s ever increasing effort towards green initiatives, not only adopting these initiatives themselves but also teaching us about each of them, their benefits and different options that we as a company can do to help create products with less impact on the environment. Lets face it, we’re in an industry that isn’t exactly the best thing for our planet, but it’s nice to know I’m working with people so completely on-board with minimizing the impacts of our industry, who are always searching for new and better ways to improve the footprint that we leave by the products we are producing with them.”
Q. Anything else you would like to share about working with Teldon?
A. “Teldon is exceptionally good at being able to help with any “outside the box” idea we throw at them. Working with odd inserts, strange gatefolds, different print treatments they are always flexible to finding the right solution and most importantly at the right price. I have had the opportunity to work with most major printers in Metro Vancouver, as well as a few of them out of province and even out of country. You would be hard pressed (no pun intended) to find a printer that can produce the calibre of printing at the extremely competitive prices with the amount of service that Teldon is able to provide. From the smallest to the largest of press runs, Teldon is one of the best well-rounded printers in the market today.“
